Wait..did I miss/forget something? When/how did Melvin lose his tail?? Also, I really love the b & w photo. So regal.
Yes, we are coming up on a year of him having a nubbin! He had ‘happy tail’ (which they should just rename ‘blood sprinkler’) and we did everything we could to save it but after many infections and the fact that his skin is so thin, we had to bid farewell to that part of him!
I’m certain that you did everything and anything you could to save Melvin’s tail. I love his “nubbin” for no reason other than the fact that it makes him more unique. And while I love all of these photos, the second to last one is my favorite. Way to rock that photo shoot Melvin!!!!
