This is our annual family beach week. We go to the beach and for many reasons, the dogs have to stay home. Luckily, we have the BEST dog watcher in the whole wide world and she comes to stay with the dogs and all is right with in the universe (ie. I can relax and enjoy knowing that the dogs are well cared for and adored while I’m gone). Photos of them pop up on texts and Instagram — and I feel joy!
Our dog watcher, V, has stayed at our house and watched the dogs 9,000,000 times. I actually think at this point she can run my house better than I can. Does this stop me from being Crazy Vacation Lady (CVL) and leaving two full pages of typed instruction AND sticky notes around the house? No. No it does not.

HAHA, too funny. I am the same way – I ALWAYS type out instructions, even though the lady has been over tons of times with no issues (and our pooches have less “stuff” than yours!). I always put everything she will need in a single place so she doesn’t have to search the whole house either. The only thing is that she’s not a big texter – I would LOVE regular updates! Glad I’m not the only one!
So fun! It’s really hard to find someone to trust with the pups, so we are always hesitant to travel lately, but it’s so great to see how it’s working out for you!
I’m all about leaving long lists and post it notes for the people who have watched Boomer and Dottie. (I even take notes when they go for boarding!)

My mommy just made the type bigger on her computer. It’s like she supersized the cocktail! But I digress. My mommy tends to be a bit of a CVL, too, but my daddy is the really huge worrier when they leave me behind. She will tell you what she tells him: Relax!
